Event Overview:
Portable Molecular Spectroscopy Inside—and Outside—of the Laboratory
Spectroscopy technology is getting smaller and more compact, increasingly being used outside of the laboratory. Scientists from industry, academia, and government laboratories are now utilizing compact molecular spectroscopy instruments for non-invasive analysis of pharmaceuticals, illicit drugs, food, art, counterfeit consumer products, and more. In this live Spectroscopy symposium, co-sponsored by the Society for Applied Spectroscopy and the Coblentz Society, attendees will hear from experts on how they are using portable tools in Raman, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), near infrared spectroscopy (NIR), and more to advance research and monitoring in a variety of fields.
Attendees will receive a certificate of completion from the Society of Applied Spectroscopy.
