Declan Delaney
Declan Delaney is Assistant Professor in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering University College Dublin in Ireland. His research interests are in the areas of network data analytics for adaptable programmable networks and infrastructure for IoT and sensor systems. He is currently involved in developing data assurance systems for sensed data and infrastructure design for the collection and handling of multi streamed data for large precision agriculture. Other research includes application aware networks and autonomous orchestration for 5G networks. Declan is an SFI Funded Investigator on the project CONSUS (www.ucd.ie/consus), a Principal Investigator for the SmartBOG project (www.smartbog.com). Having previously worked in the communications industry and through collaborating with SMEs in H2020 funding proposals, Declan maintains strong links with industry partners.
