Szilveszter Gergely

Szilveszter Gergely (PhD, associate professor, co-head of the NIR Spectroscopy Group of BME, Hungary) is focusing on the fields of research in infrared spectroscopy and multivariate data analysis. In the first research area, mid- and near-infrared spectroscopic and microscopic methods are developed using dispersive, Fourier-transform and diode array spectrophotometers for identification, qualification and quantification for agricultural, food & pharmaceutical industries. The second research area deals mainly with data analysis of laboratory and spectroscopic outputs by description statistics and chemometric tools.
